Capt. Jody Donewar New Orleans / Empire / Buras, LA USA ANOTHER 100 FISH HIT OUR DECK THIS MORNING! Regulars Jay, Tom & Dan arrived from MO. last night to fish with us for three days. We left out of Delta Marina early this morning with beautiful weather, calm winds and an incoming tide off the Gulf of Mexico. We fished the barrier islands along the gulf. Jay, Dan & Tom fished live shrimp under a popping cork and I tightlined soft plastics. We left the fish biting at about noon with 100 beautiful Speckled Trout on ice in the Yeti cooler. It was a beautiful day on the water and a lot of fun! WE HAVE BOXED 300 TROUT IN THE LAST THREE DAYS! A BIG THANKS TO MY DECKHAND HEATHER FOR A JOB WELL DONE! Capt.
