February Fishing

Day 1 with a group having a bachelor party. We found a slow trout bite all day just picking away at a few fish every stop. We never found a concentration of fish all day. We fished shallow reefs, points, and bayous with depth up to 8 ft. No pattern anywhere we went, just scattered fish here and there. Green Hornet Matrix on a 1/4 jig head accounted for the majority of our fish. Day 2 we fished a half day and the trout pretty much had lock jaw. With 7 trout on ice we switched to plan B and let the guys battle the bulls. Good times with these guys. Thanks Capt RD for setting up the trip. Capt.
