Capt. Jody Donewar New Orleans / Empire / Buras, LA USA EXCITED & HAPPY YOUNG BOYS TODAY! We had Mr. Kendal, his son Kiefer(14), and friend Wyatt(14) on board today. They are from French Settlement , LA. We left out early this morning with the wind very stiff out the northwest and building all morning. We tucked in on a leeward shoreline with clean water and went to work on the Speckled Trout . We fished an incoming tide. The bite was slow but steady. Mr. Kendal, Kiefer and Wyatt had a great time catching 55 beautiful Speckled Trout . All the fish were caught using live shrimp under a popping cork. Capt.
