NO TIDE TODAY! NO PROBLEM! WE SMOKED EM!

Capt. Jody Donewar New Orleans / Empire / Buras, LA USA We had the pleasure of guiding regular and good friend Billy Boykin and his crew of fisherman from Jackson, MS. It was a two boat trip and Capt. Zach ran the second boat for me. We left out early this morning with the wind breezy and the water stained in most places. On my boat it was Billy, Danny and Wade. We had to stick and move early on picking up a few Speckled Trout at every stop. At mid morning the wind calmed down and the water started looking better and better. Fishing some points in the outer bays near the Gulf of Mexico the guys put a whipping on speckled Trout along with a couple pretty Redfish . My boat finished up with 100 Speckled Trout and two Redfish. Capt. Zach's boat finished up with 75 Speckled Trout and a Black Drum . Great job today by our anglers, Deckhand Heather and Capt. Zach.
