SMOKED THE SPECKLED TROUT TODAY!

Capt. Jody Donewar New Orleans / Empire / Buras, LA USA After two days of fishing Redfish in windy conditions and doing very well catching Redfish. The Griggs family got a taste of Speckled Trout fishing on their third and final day with us. We left out early this morning with rain on both sides of the Mississippi River. The wind was forecasted to be fishable for Speckled Trout so that is what we did. The bite started off slow until the rain and clouds cleared out. As the weather improved the bite got better and better. Fishing an incoming tide using live shrimp under a popping cork, Scott, David, Mary Beth and Don boated 100 Speckled Trout .
