Jared Broussard has been guiding the waters of South Louisiana for nearly 10 years, specializing in inshore fishing out of Bayou Dularge, just south of Houma, Louisiana. At Du’ South Fishing Charters, we believe a great charter is about much more than simply catching fish—it’s about the entire experience. From running through the beautiful Louisiana coastal marshes and bayous to spending a great day on the water and bringing home a quality catch, our goal is to give every customer a South Louisiana fishing experience they’ll remember long after the trip is over. Our standard charters are approximately six hours and primarily target speckled trout and redfish, along with seasonal opportunities for bull reds, sheepshead, white trout and other inshore species. Whether you’re an experienced angler or picking up a fishing rod for the first time, we’re happy to tailor the day to your group and experience level. Everything needed for the fishing portion of your trip is provided, including quality rods and reels, tackle, fuel and ice. When we return to the dock, your catch is cleaned and packaged right away with no waiting around, so your experience doesn’t end with hours spent waiting at the dock for your fish. Du’ South is also equipped to handle much more than a single-boat charter. Through our regular team of experienced captains, we can accommodate multi-boat groups of up to 24 anglers for corporate outings, customer entertainment, family trips, bachelor parties and other large groups. For exceptionally large groups, we also have an additional network of trusted local captains available, allowing us to expand beyond our normal 24-angler capacity when needed. Whether your group needs one boat or an entire fleet, we can help coordinate the fishing portion of the trip through a single point of contact. For guests traveling from out of town, on-site lodging is available at Reel Inn Dularge, making it possible to stay right where you fish. Multiple lodging options give us the ability to accommodate groups of various sizes, with additional nearby accommodations available for exceptionally large groups. Catering options can also be arranged, making it easy to put together a complete South Louisiana fishing getaway or multi-day corporate event. Capt.
